Description
The Senior Logistics Analyst (Afloat) should have experience and knowledge in of aircraft carrier (CVN) programs as they relate to Navy financial management, stock control operation, inventory management of the NWCF, Supply and maintenance operation, configuration management, hotel service, food preparation, laundry and ship store services, and HAZMAT management, forklift inventory and management, and all other related shipboard services as they relate to large afloat activities. The proposed individual should have a broad knowledge of the following Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

 

The Senior Logistics Analyst provides services in connection with Afloat Food Service and sanitation for current and future aircraft carriers, assist in Ney Award preparation and conduct evaluation, provide technical expertise in shipboard habitability. Proficiency in Afloat Food Service management, food service equipment life cycle management, shipboard habitability, and Ney Award preparation and inspection.

 

The Senior Logistics Analyst provides services in connection with Afloat HAZMAT and MHE Management Support. Proficiency in the following areas will be required: U.S. Government and U.S. Navy HAZMAT and MHE management programs, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines as they relate to aircraft carrier and ashore naval operations; ESOH regulations and instructions; OSHA requirements, regulations, and guidelines; CHRIMP and HMC&M procedures, instructions, policies, and regulations.
 

The Senior Logistics Analyst provides services in connection with non-aviation supply technical support for all CVNs, provide support for OBRP’s allowancing/outfitting requirements, review proposed ILS, review COSAL initial outfitting requisitions, attend ILSMT meetings, review ASI reports. Proficiency in the following areas will be required – Consolidate Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL), Targeted Allowance Reconciliation (T-ART), Automated Fleet COSAL Feedback Report (A-FCFBR), Integrated Logistics Systems (ILS), Allowance Parts List (APL), Allowance Equipage List (AEL), R-SUPPLY, In-Service Engineering Agents (ISEA), Maintenance Assist
Module (MAM).


Provide services in all Ashore and Afloat Financial Operations in current and future Financial Management Information Systems. Proficiency in Unmatched Disbursements (UMD), Common Interface (CIF), Negative Unliquidated Obligations (NULO), Unliquidated Liquidations (ULO).


Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in logistics or a business discipline or at least 20 years of logistic experience in the US military as long as the related experience will contribute to the successful performance of the PWS and/or mission.

Salary Description
$80k to $88k with a comprehensive benefit package
